GENIE: estimating demographic history from molecular phylogenies

Bioinformatics. 2002 Oct;18(10):1404-5. doi: 10.1093/bioinformatics/18.10.1404.

Abstract

GENIE implements a statistical framework for inferring the demographic history of a population from phylogenies that have been reconstructed from sampled DNA sequences. The methods are based on population genetic models known collectively as coalescent theory.
