Pediatr Neurol. 2005 May;32(5):350-1. doi: 10.1016/j.pediatrneurol.2004.11.007.

Abstract

A 6-year-old male being treated with limited efficacy by methylphenidate immediate release for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder also presented with sleep disruption due to potential restless legs/periodic limb movement syndrome. Treatment with the dopamine agonist ropinirole resulted in a significant improvement in both his attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder symptoms and sleep problems.
