Abstract

This paper deals with the Bencaological records of the traditional Chinese drug Tianmingjing and the reason for its different names in use today. The traditional Chinese drug Heshi should be the fruit of Artemisia cina, rather than that of Carpesium abrotanoides. The present application of Tianmingjing in China is also discussed.
