Addressable electrochemiluminescence detection system based on redox-cycling of Ru(bpy)(3)(2+)

Chem Commun (Camb). 2010 Jan 14;46(2):243-5. doi: 10.1039/b915871e. Epub 2009 Nov 16.

Abstract

This is the first report on addressable electrochemiluminescence (ECL) based on redox-cycling of tris(2,2'-bipyridine)-ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)(3)(2+)). By changing the column or row electrodes addressed, the ECL at each address point can be detected separately.
