[Supporting the development and mindfullness of the newborn]

Abstract

From birth and throughout their development, babies discover their bodies, others and the world around them. During this process, their present sensitivity and capacities must be respected. The gradual acquisition of their skills and autonomy is favoured by the containment of the adult, both physically, emotionally and on a sensory level.
