J Pediatr Ophthalmol Strabismus. 1980 May-Jun;17(3):198-202. doi: 10.3928/0191-3913-19800501-16.

Abstract

Eye exercises are regularly performed by the Chinese children in this highly regimented society. These exercises, based on acupuncture points, are used by children who are approximately 6 to 13 years of age. Chinese eye exercises are reported to be beneficial for myopia, a common Oriental ocular problem. I know of no scientific study that either proves or disproves this.
