Aberrant regeneration of the inferior division of the oculomotor nerve

Arch Neurol. 1981 Jul;38(7):460-1. doi: 10.1001/archneur.1981.00510070094020.

Abstract

Aberrant regeneration of the oculomotor nerve most frequently results from an intracranial lesion proximal to the bifurcation of the nerve. We describe a patient in whom abnormal synkinetic movements indicate aberrant regeneration within the inferior division only.
