Abstract
Objective:
To analyze the constituents from the rhizomes of Atractylodes lancea and A. chinensis in essential oils.
Method:
GC-MS method was used.
Result:
32 and 29 compounds were identified respectively.
Conclusion:
The main constituents in the essential oils from the rhizome of A. chinensis are beta-eudesmol or a mixture of beta-eudesmol and atractylone, whereas from that of A. lancea are hinesol, a mixture of beta-eudesmol and atractylone, and atractylone.
