Systemic inflammation induces release of cell-free DNA from hematopoietic and parenchymal cells in mice and humans

Blood Adv. 2019 Mar 12;3(5):724-728. doi: 10.1182/bloodadvances.2018018895.

Abstract

  1. During a systemic inflammatory response, cell-free DNA is first released by hematopoietic cells and thereafter by nonhematopoietic cells.
