Clinical course of breast cancer was studied in 119 patients suffering concomitant diabetes mellitus. Peculiarities of clinical course of breast cancer versus type of diabetes mellitus were analysed. Rapid growth and dissemination of tumor were observed in cases of insulin-dependent diabetes, whereas in patients with insulin-non-dependent disease long-term postoperative remissions were registered.
